In 2024, Xingke reported the export of 20,000 third-generation smart solar light poles to Dubai. According to the original project page, the order was valued at RMB 380 million and was intended for smart-city infrastructure, combining solar power, intelligent lighting and connected urban functions.

Smart Lighting and Energy Efficiency

The system is described as using adaptive lighting control together with functions such as environmental monitoring, emergency broadcasting and EV-related services. The project page states that the solution was selected to support Dubai’s goals for lower public-facility energy consumption and more integrated digital infrastructure.

Technology for Harsh Climate Conditions

The light poles are presented as being designed for Dubai’s high-temperature environment, using thin-film solar technology and lithium iron phosphate energy storage. The original article also highlights the company’s patent portfolio and extended backup capability during periods of limited sunlight.

Deployment and Local Support

The project page says the poles would be deployed in Dubai Expo City and supported by a dedicated project team, including Arabic-speaking engineers and a customized management platform for local smart-city systems. It also links the project with Xingke’s broader expansion plans in the Middle East.
